Bees are an extraordinary traveling sensor that can “read” the state of health of the environment through the analysis of wax, bees and honey. Among the trees surrounding the Royal Site, an environmental biomonitoring station has been installed consisting of beehives in which bees are constantly checked by experts because, patrolling an area of about 7 square kilometers and carrying out up to 10 mln of daily microprelieve, they are able to offer a clear analysis on the environment that surrounds them.
